SOUTH AFRICA HIGH COURT BAN AIR TANZANIA FRIGHT


Air Tanzania has been banned from leaving South Africa by order of the Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg.


"The Government of Tanzania through the Attorney General's Office is monitoring the flight," said Minister of Works, Transport and Communications, Isack Kamwelwe in a statement signed by the Secretary-General for Transport. Leonard Chamuriho.

The minister has apologized for the inconvenience experienced by the passengers of the Tanzania Airlines (ATCL) who were traveling from Johannesburg to Dar es Salaam.

He has apologized for the passengers' failure to travel from the Oliver Tambo Airport in Johannesburg after the plane failed to make the trip as planned due to the blockade.
